Kleer Suursild

Kleer Suursild(2000) is an Estonian flutist and composer. Kleer has participated in many different projects both in Estonia and abroad, in jazz and classical music. Having started her journey with classical music, jazz came into her life after a performance in New York and a keen interest in Indian music. The rhythms and improvisation hidden in Indian music gave her the impetus to discover improvisation in jazz. Soulfulness and playfulness intertwine in Kleer's playing with virtuosity.

Kleer Suursild has performed in different collectives in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland and USA. She has played flute in live radio recordings, studio sessions, advertisements, theatre acts as well as in live TV shows broadcasted by Estonian Public Broadcasting.
